From 29 April to 1 May, the small village of Costitx hosts the "Costitx en Flor". As the name suggests, the whole town is decorated with flowers on the occasion of this village festival. Neighbours, florists and artists join together to make their town bloom. This year, the residents have come up with something very special: 10,000 crocheted flowers will be hung in the Costitx Plaza. The colourful programme also includes art exhibitions with floral motifs, bonsai presentations and exhibitions where florists present their creations. Mallorcan agricultural and food products can also be purchased, and vintage cars and antique furniture are also on display. With free entry, this colourful festival is the perfect way to spend the day in Costitx and discover one or two of nature's Mallorcan treasures.
