One of the most beautiful harbours on the island, the marina of Port Andratx in the southwest of Mallorca is becoming even more attractive! In the Port of Andratx, very close to the Club de Vela, the construction of new moorings for so-called super yachts has started, seven moorings will be built. This was announced by the charter company Easy Boats in a press release. Mallorca will become even more interesting for friends of luxury boats in the near future. After completion of the construction work, yachts with a length of up to 30 metres will find space in the marina of Port Andratx. In addition some new, large parking lots for cars will be built. The project was approved by the Balearic Port Authority a year ago and construction work has now begun.
Port d'Andratx is one of the most sought-after and expensive residential areas in Spain and of course in the Balearic Islands. With an average price per square metre for real estate in Port Andratx of 2,422 euros (source TINSA), the municipality ranks third after Sitges and Calvià in the list of the most expensive residential areas in Spain. However, these average prices can be even higher in many cases.
The municipality Andratx has approximately 10,000 inhabitants, who split up across Port d´Andratx directly at the sea and across the village of Andratx somewhat further inland. Puerto Andratx currently has a total of 690 moorings, and yachts up to 35 metres long can dock here. The bay of Andratx is a natural harbour and the marina of Port Andratx offers a wonderful view. The Tramuntana mountain range surrounds the picturesque harbour town.
