The secluded coastal village of Costa de los Pinos, called Costa dels Pins in Mallorcan, is located in the northeast of the island and belongs to the municipality of Son Servera.
Son Servera is one of the five municipalities that make up the Levante Mallorquín region. Son Servera has the mountain of Son Lluc in the northeast and Na Peñal and the peak of La Fuente in the southwest. In Son Servera there is also Cala Millor. This is the main coastal town of the area and an important tourist destination for families and one of the most visited villages in Mallorca during the summer months, with a large number of beaches, hotels and restaurants.
The area around Artá is one of the most diverse areas of Mallorca in terms of tourism. It is located in the northeast of Mallorca, more precisely in the region of Llevant, and in its municipal area we find dream beaches like Cala Torta or Na Clara, beautiful hiking routes through the Península de Llevant Natural Park, not to mention a cultural heritage with interesting places like Sant Salvador or the Talayotic settlement of Ses Païses.
The town of Artá itself has a rich history. The first human remains date back to prehistoric times, more precisely to the Pre-Talayotic period. Later, the Romans and the Muslims settled this area and left their mark in the municipality with a great number of monuments, thus acquiring a great cultural wealth.
Away from the routes of mass tourism, the municipality has managed to preserve the traditions of a hospitable and typically Mediterranean town. But in the summer months the town comes to life when its terraces and restaurants are filled with visitors who are welcomed with open arms by the inhabitants.
