Arts and Crafts Fair Fira del Fang
After a two-year pandemic break, the largest arts and crafts fair in Marratxi is back.
The festival of pottery takes place every year in March in Marratxi, about 15 minutes by car from Palma. Hundreds of market booths offer local, but also international pottery and ceramics. The festival celebrates a long-standing tradition in Mallorca, as red clay has been used since the 18th century and many traditional dishes are still served in the so-called greixoneres. Many other works of art can be purchased here, or you can make your own in a variety of workshops.
On the occasion of the Fira del Fang, the Rute Fang Tape also takes place. On the Tapas Route, bars and restaurants in Pòrtol, Sa Cabaneta and Sant Marçal offer their creations in the pottery clay bowls.
