Christmas markets in Mallorca

At the end of November, the opulent lighting of the city of Palma was switched on, bringing the Christmas glow of fairy lights to the capital. Once December arrives, many Spanish and German residents are drawn to the island's numerous Christmas markets.

The typical German mulled wine, however, can only be found at markets organised by Germans, but at all Christmas markets there is plenty to eat and drink, handmade craftwork and lots of fun activities for children.
To help you get in the mood in the run-up to Christmas on Mallorca, we have put together a list of some of the markets below:

  • Palma at the Plaza Mayor, 19 November to 05 January, open daily
  • Santa Ponsa, at the windmill, 27 November to 19 December, open daily
  • Pueblo Español, 03 December to 02 January, always Fridays to Sundays
  • Son Amar near Palmanyola, 03 to 19 December, always Fridays to Sundays
  • Puerto Portals, 16 December to 06 January, open daily
  • Port Adriano, 17 December to 06 January, open daily
